Xara (http://www.xara.com/), makers of Xara Xtreme, a popular vector drawing program, have announced (http://www.xaraxtreme.org/) that they will be releasing an Open Source version of their program. Both a Linux and Mac version are planned.

Will be interesting to see how it compares to the Gimp...

More companies need to do this, it's like using a voodoo doll on Microsoft :D
