SO, what does that do for a total novice like myself?

Exactly how do I use it?

It's a good reference for standard skin tones, etc. On it's own, it doesn'tdo much, but combined with a good tutorial or book, it can help you find complimentary colors for shading, etc.

So you are saying that I can take that image above and put it in as a palate for doing my drawings. How?

I load it into Photoshop and just color pick as needed.

See I was looking at it like I had to put some code in to get it into my computer, dhere captain. I guess I might be making it to complex.
