Have you ever had a time when you needed to Instant Message someone and you were not at home and all you had access to was a computer that the general public used and you didn't want to risk leaving any personal information on it? Well you can always go to http://www.meebo.com. Meebo allows you to log into AIM, ICQ, Yahoo, Jabber, GTalk and MSN and send a message. I have tried it with MSN and it works pretty good.

Don't worry if MSN finds out...they will raise a fuss....thats what happened with GAIM...now I'm not sure if they support MSN anymore...

Gaim still works on MSN,

But that is not like Gaim, it's browser based and pretty damn cool. No installing anything. Follow the link and sign in ;)

Cool...I read an article about how MSN was trying to make it so that others could not use it on the universal messenger....my mistake....sorry....but I know they did raise a fuss....

I also have trouble with Yahoo logging in sometimes...is that fixable?

IMVU
http://www.imvu.com/

was fun, but the app was SOOOOO slow and laggy that none of my friends wanted to use it. I kinda enjoyed the 3d interface and had a great little avatar...

I used all my free credits for a sweet Skinny Puppy Tshirt, a Katana, and a pet Velociraptor.

I've installed that on a couple times but I don't know anyone who uses it so I don't use it much. I have a friend who is an avid gamer who uses xfire. If you are a gamer that is a good IM to have with you friends.

Anyone who used Gaim it has been renamed Pidgin due to a lawsuit with AIM. You of course can still use your old version of gaim but any new versions will be under Pidgin.
