Just found out that AOL, Netscape, and Earthlink apparently don't like you to use other software to send email. They have proxies etc that won't accept it through port 25. Simple cure to this problem is to simply change your outgoing port to 26. Then you will be able to send email. Most servers use 25 and 26 for pop email.....

Not quite.
POP3 is on port 110.
SMTP is usually on port 25, but can be set to other ports, the most common being 26.

Doesn't effect you when you use their mailservers, but, if you have an account elsewhere, you are often forced to route all outgoing email through their servers. It's supposed to help fight spam, but, I have my doubts personally. Usually its a damn inconvenience as the spammers work around it.
