What you just got 2 new computers to play with and you haven't set them up yet? You should be carefully you might get your pocket protector taken away for that.

any new technology in my house takes top priority, much to the chagrin of the rest of my family

Considering that the dumb asses from Fed Ex left the box in my backyard (the cardboard box, in the rain I might add) and the temperature differentials (plus a minor server issue and doc. apptment) I feel my geek status is safe. :)

I tested both out, as well as I can, and they seem ok. Sadly, the 2 wireless keyboards and mice that came with them don't seem to work, and I don't have any USB keyboards. I do have USB mice though so I was able to get to the password prompt, but, lacking keyboards wasn't able to attempt login.

I'll be hopefully hitting CompUSA tomorrow to pick up the needed gear to get em running. :)

Did I mention, Fex Ex are absolute buttheads for leaving a cardboard box containing $1,000 in hardware sitting in the rain?
Good.

I would file a complaint with them just in case something else goes wrong.

Yeah...service doesn't seem to be a priority anymore....

I usually test out anything I get out right away...so lately I have been testing myself. I try to go an hour without touching it.....i like to test myself...
