looks like a port in which something connects to. My guess would be pci but that is probably wrong.

Andrew Green

BlueDragon1981

at first glance it looks like a power plug..but it hooks into the board...

its not coming to my mind and i refuse to cheat....

also looks like one of the cables that go from moden to the board for sound...

you got me on this one....i think i know what it does but can't get it for sure....

Looks like the spot where the power, speaker, front case led's etc.. plug into the motherboard.

BlueDragon1981
11-18-2005, 01:23 AM
Thats what I was thinking....or the power supply fan....

BlueDragon1981
11-18-2005, 01:26 AM
Do those cables have names...lol...cause if they do I never bothered to remember them....

Shandril

I don't think it would be the power supply fan. It could also be a USB for additional USB ports that you can run to the front of the case.

That's the one ;)

Those are how the USB on the front of the case connects to the motherboard

another coming in a minute...

Andrew Green
11-19-2005, 01:43 AM
sort of, it was a good many peoples first introduction to programming in school ;)

Andrew Green
11-19-2005, 04:22 AM
so we got hardware geeks, but no programming geeks playing ;)

For the record, that was logo, or more commonly tutrle, a simple language to teach basic concepts.

Back to hardware then
