The Diablo series has made Blizzard a great deal of money. It also put them in the list of great game makers. They are one of the few who make their games for both Windows and Mac. Generally they make a game that doesn't have many glitches. They don't use a lot of patches unless it is to update the game.

Diablo the original was a game that I would play modem to modem, and one of the first ones i played over the internet. (the other modem to modem game i played was Doom).

We had a group that played and beat the game on hell mode. We had 2 warriors, one wizard, and one rogue. I was the rogue. Many hours played on that game.

Diablo 2 was not a let down. Usually sequals are but this one definatly was not. I have at least one of every character. My best character is a druid. The second best is a sorceress. We have not beat this one on hell mode yet...thats because we played it a lot to just beat it in nightmare mode. Now we have a group with 2 barbarians and my druid or sorceress. When you get something that is immune to physical it kills our party because the barbarians can't do much.

There is talk about a third installment to the series. Nothing confirmed but I think they will make another one...although it will be years before it comes out....the downfall to Blizzards games...is the time period it takes them to make one.

Well it takes awhile to make a program that is that good with very few bugs in it. Now if microsoft would just take there time in writing the next version of windows maybe just maybe it will have fewer bugs in it.

That is what they are suppose to have done now...since it has been the longest time they have waited for a release. Developers still see holes though.

I have played the original Diablo and I liked it but I never got around to checking out the sequel.

I bet it solo in hell mode in diablo 2 expansion. I got a few characters to hell level. I bet it with a Paladin, got a Necro to the final battle but could not close it yet. Don't have a ton of time to do it lately! I'm working on a druid too...

one thing I like about Diablo is the free internet play. don't have to pay subscription for it. I never got -too- heavily into it, I tend to enjoy playing games by myself. I did however enjoy getting someone to help craft weapons. I've got some really kick butt weapons/gear. Lots of fun! you can actually purchase things on Ebay! Never went that route. I'm not -that- dedicated to the game...
