Anyone have any experience with this? How'd it go?

I used it briefly. Seemed I spent alot of cash for little response. Also, they kept automatically turning off low volume keywords on me, despite the higher conversion rate of those. YMMV though.

How would you compare it to traditional advertising? (door to door flyers, newspaper ads, etc.)

I've tried em all, I'd say traditional is still king.

How much are google ad words...?

It varies. You bid on them. Some at a penny, others $50+

I was averaging 25 cents a clickthrough when I used it. Spent a couple hundred bucks and dropped it.

Those flyers make good paper airplanes you know. :)

I use flyers, business cards, anything i can think of for that purpose...tring to get people to use my service and then hopefully word of mouth will take over....not successful yet though....of course if i would not fix them right the first time i might have repeat customers...lol...dang it i do it correctly....and its bad for business...lol.

Well, I decided to give it a little test of my own (traditional has always cost a fortune and done very little, I get more from my site without advertising then I anything else...)

I'll report in once it gets going as to how it goes :)
