I keep hearing this term. What is is, how does it work, and how do you do it?

My cousing talked about maybe doing this with a once joint site...which is developing into something not so joint anymore...but anyway...

I think it is kind of like radio broadcasting. Leo Leport I think has a pod cast now since all his shows were taken away when Tech TV merged with G4TV. Its not a continual thing i don't think...scheduled times is how I believe they do it...I'm not entirely sure because I haven't done much with it...
