I had to restart my computer today and when everything came back up, firefox started acting funny...mostly in regards to VB sites. Like where there's a drop-down menu in the navagation, sometimes it reset the menu bar with the submenu options. Images don't display. When I start a thread, some buttons (like attatchments) don't show up.
So Im confused. I didn't change anything. Ive restarted he browser several times with the same result, so I dunno. I just want to know if its happened to anyone else o_O
(looks around real quick)
Now it seems to be fine...*bangs head on wall*
..bet it does it again after I make this post >_o*
Ok, this seems to be the only board not affected. But KT, NC, BuffaloRange.com are all acting weird on me o_O

yep that is what i always suggested first when I worked for an isp. The next thing after that was to restart again...every now and then something doens't load right after you restart when the computer has been on for a long time.

That is why some times instead of restarting the computer it is a good idea to shut it down for a few min. But be warned if you rarely turn off your computer you should make sure you back up important files first you never know when the hard drive read/write head could get stuck after it parks it self.

I generally keep my computers on all day then shut them down before I go to sleep. I know with servers you can't do that. I'm hoping to get an older computer for free from someone who just got a new one...going to maybe make it a firewall or server....
I've notices a few quirks of the same type with opera when things have been on a long time..specially after a system freeze...that is when you want shut down completely. I hope i never have that hard drive problem...thanks for that warning Matt..

Firefox seems to have some cache issues. I haven't experienced it myself, but have seen a few others having stuff get 'stuck', and the fix has been a clear out.
