You can play the upgraded version which is a paid subscription or the classic which has a free account for Anarchy Online. Supposably Silk Road is Free.

....watch out when doing a search for this one you will get the historical "silk road" dealing with China. You have to search it by using the mmorpg with it. Or Silkroad Online...lol.

A.O. is old. Almost as old as EQ. It promised a lot it didnt deliver.

My roommate is Beta Testing Auto Assualt. Its a Mad-max/Autoduel MMORPG featuring auto combat similar to the old I-86 game.

Also D&D online is being released in a couple months. Of all the MMORPGs coming out, this one seems to have the most promise.

Personally, Im just looking forward to Neverwinter 2... once the PWs go up for that, its free MMORPG city.
