We have a good number of board games. Ranging from very simple to the mind teasers. Some are packed away and others are accessible. The ones I can remember we have....

Disney Trivial Pursuit
Upwords
Risk
Dungeon (can't remember the full name)
Sorry...
Candy Land (game for the kids...we have many kids games)
Connect Four
Chess

Also we have some of the card games such as....

Phase 10
Skip Bo
Uno (a few different versions)

How about everyone else....what is in your closet...lol.

I'm sure I'll forget something but these are the ones that get played, there are others lost in some closet.

Settlers of Catan, with most of the expansions
Carcassonne, the standard game again with most expansion except the tower
Carcassonne Hunters and Gatherers
Carcassonne the Discovery
Formula de with a couple extra track expansions
Caylus
Puerto Rico
Bohnanza
Starfarers of Catan
Iron Dragon
San Juan
Munchkin with a couple expansions
Dune-original book case game
The Fury of Dracula
Entdecker
Pirates of the Spanish Main, which I am terrible at
Magic the gathering, although not the new stuff, stopped collecting after The Dark expansion

That covers most of what is out and played on a regular basis. One of our regular gamers has many more and provides most of the games that get played at our weekly game night.

I've never even heard of the games Artemis plays! LOL

I swore off playing games after playing them with my sister and father growing up. Who treated a game as if their lives hung in the ballance and killed the joy of just playing and socialising which for me was what "play" means!!!!

You would hate playing with my family then, Rowan! My mom's side are all hard-core competitors & hate to lose. We can make even a game of Yahtzee feel like a life-or-death tournament! lol

HAHA....I am almost the same way. I have to remind myself several times it is only a game, course it helps that I win a lot. As for the games I have:
2 versions of monopoly
Backgammon
Scrabble
Sequence
Kings Court
Aggravation
Sorry
Chess

Most of our players are serious about playing and winning is just icing. Our games get can get pretty "screw your neighbor" but it is done towards all so you just do it right back.

You should, all our friends have been losers lately and not showing up. This is the second week in a row with no gaming.:(
