Dave Meltzer is reporting (http://www.wrestlingobserver.com/wo/news/headlines/default.asp?aID=15521) that Mike Durham, better known as Johnny Grunge died today in an Atlanta hospital. The cause of death is still being determined, but is believed to be due to complications from sleep apnea.
Grunge and the late Rocco Rock (Ted Petty) were one of the most popular tag teams in ECW, eventually going to WCW. When their music hit, the fans would often dance along with them.
He had recently appeared at several Hardcore Homecoming shows as a tribute to his late partner, Rocco Rock, who died in 2002. Friends said that Grunge never got over that loss.
