I agree with this article. Most gamers are more adapt to use technology items than your "normal" regular person. Also games are now becoming movies, and books are being written after games....used to be the other way around a game based around a movie or book.

The business is also growing very rapidly compared to other entertainment areas.

You're right - it really has exploded. Whenever I go to Fry's I see a lot of people purchasing video games. My guess is that ten years from now we will some really incredible interactive games that will rival the worlds in "Snow Crash", the Neal Stephenson novel of the mid-1990's.
