Many of us have favourite actors/actresses. Just curious how far you have traveled or would travel to see that person.

I think the furthest I traveled was when I was on Seatrek 93 which departed from Miami, FL and traveled to Jamaica, Grand Caymen and back to Miami, FL. There were a ton of guests to see including John De Lancie (Q), Robert O'Reilly (Gowron)Eric Menyuk (Traveler), Robin Curtis (Savik), Jerry Hardin (Mark Twain, also was on X-Files), Daniel Davis (Professor Moriarty), Mark Leonard (Sarek), James Doohan (Scotty), George Takei (Sulu), , Majel Barrett (Mrs. Troi, Ships Computer), Diane Mulduar (Dr. Polaski) and William Campbell (TOS).

I most enjoyed meeting Robert O'Reilly and being able to watch several unaired episodes of Trek where Gowron was in the episodes. What a blast! Also getting a huge hug from Jimmy Doohan (he was never without a lady on his one arm and a drink in his other hand...LOL!) Lastly, I received a personal introduction to Mark Leonard because I had previously met his understudy on the shuttle to the hotel. Later when I passed him on my way to dinner he introduced me to Mark. That was so cool!

I plan on going with my wonderful husband to Michigan in May in hopes of meeting Brent Spiner (Data). I had thought that I may have to travel to the UK in order to see him. My fingers are crossed that all will work out and he will make it to Michigan.

In the U.S., what is your favourite con to attend....money aside.

Anime Expo...I LOVE seeing how great the costumes are - people from all over the world show up there - plus Ive met so many people over the years - some Im even stilli n touch with.

The cosplayers from Japan are PHENOMENAL

...and I love the dealers room... :D

Problem with anime cons now in regards to dealers room, isthat they're all packed with the newest stuff...which I don't watch -_-* So it gets hard to find items of interest. I had that problem at Fanime. :(
