Ok, so help me out here........So the current flash drive I use that I really like is a 128 mb Lexar Jump Drive Secure.

Now there are two problems with this drive 1) The size is limiting, 2) I think it is slowly failing because every 4th time I plug it in, it isn't seen by the computer

I use a flash drive to store a few things that:
A) I want to keep mobile because I access from multiple computers
B) Keep a few things I need extra back ups of
c) Keep a few things that I don't want on a computer constantly like my journals

Now I really like the Lexar Secure because it feels solidin my hand, it is light, but I don't feel like I am going to break it in half like a Sandisk drive (which I have done). And the simple solution would be to go to a 1gb Lexar Secure, but that presents a few challenges: Limited availability (The Secure II is now out and I don't like it as much) and the ones that are out there are relatively expensive, compariatively.

So I am wondering what suggestions for a Flash drive are out there from the elite tech users out here if people consider
1) I DON'T want sandisk
2) I want something that won't feel like I will break it if I look at it wrong (I've broken a few Sandisk ones already, they are fragile I swear, hence the aversion). I know this is an oxymoron, but I want something light that at the same time has a little weight to it...
2) I treat my stuff rough, it is very likely this drive will be dropped, stepped on, left in a computer for days, travel with and without it's cap and generally treated harshly from a physical stand point......

So any suggestions?........

I don't know how durable they are compared to others, but I picked up a kingston 2GB for $20. There was a sale at Fry's on them.

I don't use it often. But I'm very happy with it. :)

I have a Lexar jump drive (don't know what model because it is burried somewhere in my rack at the moment) and so far the only thing that has broke is the key chain attachment, other than that is is small enough that it doesn't bother me in my pocket yet big enough that I won't loose it and the nintendo emulator and work documents I have on it.
I don't care for the kingston brand, 2 people in my workcenter have them and they have both broke, but for 20 bucks that is a good price and you can always just reglue the case back together.

simple.... go to newegg.com, or tigerdirect.com and look at flash drives and read the customers reviews...
