EPISODE NUMBER - 311
ORIGINAL U.S. AIR DATE - 01.21.07

The Cylon-Colonial standoff for the Eye of Jupiter continues while a supernova threatens the algae planet. Meanwhile, Lee considers a rescue operation for Starbuck. (TV Guide)

Well... that description isn't very helpful, is it?!

What did everyone think about the conclusion to the algae planet story? For the most part, I thought it was well done. I am dying to know whose face Deanna saw when she apologized that that Final Five Cylon, though! Which one of our worthy heroes will turn out to be a Cylon? The only one I know it can't be is Helo, because otherwise Hera wouldn't be a hybrid. Other than that... any guesses? It is too obvious to make it Baltar, which might mean that it is Baltar, but... I don't think it is... probably...

So... why didn't Helo just quietly (and less messily) poison Sharon instead of shooting her? He must be able to get his hands on poison, he could at least have asked Tigh where he found th epoison when he killed his wife! I suppose the shock factor wouldn't have been as great. And how DARE Roslin act all self-righteous & high and mighty when it comes to Hera?! It is her fault that the Cylons were able to get their hands on her in the fist place.

So, any ideas on what will happen to Caprica 6 (I am assuming it was Caprica 6 who went back to Galactica with Sharon, she is the most "human" of her model) now that she is a prisoner? Ditto on Baltar... who needs to be shaved, dangit, that beard is fugly!

Dee sure enjoyed jabbing Starbuck with that needle, didn't she? Who can blame her? I wish Dee would just gather up the few shreds of self-respect she has left and dump his cheating butt. Not only do they have zero chemistry (which is a shame, because the sexual tension was great when they were just flirting) but honestly, she could do better.

Speaking of Starbuck, I guess Leoben isn't as crazy as I thought, because she obviously does have some sort of fate or destiny or whatever. Her painting & the picture of the Eye of Jupiter were eerily similar... is she one of the Final Five Cylons & that is how she knew? Enquiring minds want to know!

I am dying to know how the ratings were for Sunday. Without a Trace wasn't on, so I watched the first airing, but a major football game was on, so I am curious to see how it fared on its new day.

I really liked the episode....I figured they were going to kill off D'anna soon cause I couldn't see Lucy Lawless on the show for the long haul....I am curious who she saw. I still don't think it is Baltar, and I don't think it will be Adama's, President or Starbuck. It might be an interesting twist if it was Tighe....The only one we know for sure that it is not is Helo because he and Sharon had the Cylon-human hybrid kid....

I don't know about Caprica 6....I don't think she can ever truly gain the trust everyone like Sharon (Athena) did....Not sure what they will do with Baltar, but wouldn't mind seeing him shave...

I was wondering the same thing about Starbuck, if she knew of the drawing because she was one of the final 5, but I don't think so...I think it is just that she has a destiny and some predisposition of knowledge because of that...

I caught the second airing of the show, not the first cause I was watching the ball game and it was a good game that was undecided until like the last minute, so I imagine that it did hurt the ratings some.

I think she saw Rosalin. She's (kinda) had direct contact with her with different lives.

Ellen Tigh maybe, but I don't think she'd rank as one of the five.

Not Helo for sure.

Adama, Apollo & Helo are right out too.

Starbuck maybe. Her folks are dead (presumed I reckon) prior to the time of the initial attack & she doesn't talk about them much or miss them.

Gaeta or Dualla since they're junior members but way too bright for their own good... especially ol' Felix.

Who Knows... Who Shot JR???

There was a rumor going around that
Starbuck's mother would be making an appearance and she was horrid enough to explain away a LOT of Starbuck's "issues"
but I don't know if that has changed.

That'd be cool... but whoever #3 saw, I think it's someone she's had direct contact with from BSG and was unkind too... in a Cylon way not knowing better to not be that way.

Now that would be awesome....obviously it is someone she has met before cause she recognized him/her, but would be an interesting twist if it was someone she mistreated...

Baltar has to be a Cylon. Why? Because he is just too sexualy active. If he were human then having him produce the hybred would too easy.

But the one (3) saw was Roslyn!

maybe Baltar shoots blanks?

:D

If it were easy to make a hybrid, he mighta made one on Caprica before the war.

I think it's Starbuck who's Imperious Leader. Ron Moore likes shock value and unpredictability. It would explain her having the best skills as a pilot, as a rifleman, and a strategist. To be good at all three above the rest of the fleet is pretty remarkable. Plus she has a history of not fitting in with a human soceity. It could be her cylon subconcious subtly rebeling.

It would also explain how she knew the Eye of Jupiter. And why Loeben knows she's special. And ...well alot.

Course if this opinion gets widespread, Moore will rewrite her backstory before revealing it.

'The Rapture is a good episode. It seem that we see the aliens from the Ship Of Lights again. These 5 D'anna saw are not Cylons. What they are, we don't know, yet. We need a future episode to find out.
