NEWS & SPOILERS
Things are not well with the fleet. With limited medical supplies and even fewer capable doctors, people are getting sick and dying. One young man, Willie King, is the latest victim -- and unconvinced by the initial autopsy report that shows that he (like many others) died of radiation poisoning, his mother demands answers. She is a Saggitaron, and many of her people are starting to believe that they are being discriminated against when it comes to medical care of the fleet.

Helo goes to Doctor Robert on board one of the ships for some answers. He shows the man a stack of complaint forms againt him. Robert isn't surprised at the people's ungratefulness. He shows Helo how grim the situation is. But Helo is concerned when his own young daughter, a half-Cylon, is injured and comes under Robert's care.

Later Helo finds his fellow pilot "Hot Dog" is laid up in Roberts' medical bay, and not doing well. Still suspect of Robert's care, Helo eventually tries to take his friend and move him to Doc Cottle's care -- but security and an angry Doctor Roberts prevent him.

Interesting, it looks as if they decided to change some of the plot, most especially concerning Dee rather than Hot Dog, being the final victim. Can I add, by the way, that I am disappointed that they didn't kill Dee off in this ep? I used to like her, but with the whole Queasy Quadrangle (that's what people over at Gateworld are calling the Lee/Kara/Dee/Anders fiasco :p ), I have had it with Dee. It is time for her to go, since she is obviously never again going to be more than just that woman Lee married when Kara ditched him for Anders... **yawn**

It was interesting how everyone seemed to not be bothered by the Saggitarons dying off, it was a shockingly racist sort of reaction, actually. Even Roslin, who won't let women have freedom to choose abortion for an unwanted baby, wasn't at all upset that the Saggitarons were dying. Of course, that doesn't surprise me as much as it should have. Roslin has already shown that if she doesn't like something, or understand it, that she has no qualms about either killing it off or letting it die.

I liked this Helo episode & I liked the look into the Agathon's home life. It is nice to see a couple on Galactica who can have a normal, healthy relationship where even when they fight they manage to not hate each other & make up in the end. On that note, wtf is up with Tyrol & Cally? Why are they wasting Tyrol's wonderful potential as a character by making him the guy who drinks at a bar and commiserates with Lee, instead of dealing with his wife and doing all those wonderful Chiefly things I miss seeing?!

Actually, I have always liked Helo & the more I see him the more I like him. He has become the moral compass & voice of reason for a crew that badly needs someone well-adjusted and with well-defined ideas of right and wrong. Hopefully this doesn't mean that they will kill him off or make him a caricature they way they have with some of the other characters lately!

How hilarious was Tigh's reaction when Helo hit him? The tough, crazy old bird just shook it off and told Helo he should get his hand looked at, letting Helo know that Tigh's face was tougher than anything Helo had, lol.

I am sure I have more to say, but maybe someone else has something to add?

...?

'The Woman King' is a good episode. In it, a doctor decided who get to live and who dies. He doesn't think that the fleet might need all of them alive to create more babies. I hope that Doctor Roberts doesn't run into Tom Zarek. He might mot survive meeting him.

It was interesting how everyone seemed to not be bothered by the Saggitarons dying off, it was a shockingly racist sort of reaction, actually.

They were religious fundies that rejected all medical treatment and didn't do anything during the resistance on planet mudball, the Saggitarons are not the favorites of anyone, especially when people start getting sick and don't want treatment.
What do you expect?

Yeah, I was confused about where all those new refugees came from and why did they stick them on the Galactica rather than one of the civvy ships?
