There are unconfirmed comments that Rob Van Dam has been released from his WWE contract. Reasons given were his contract expired in mid June and he had no intent to re-sign. WWE decided to drop him rather than bury him on tv. If true, he'll be under the usual 90 day non-compete clause, at which point it's expected he'll end up in TNA.
