I had a chance to catch Nickelodeon's foray into the world of Anime today... some new series they are Airing called Avatar the Last Airbender.

It was pretty cool, supprisingly.

Kinda Kung-fu, Kinda Elemental Magic... I enjoyed what I saw of it.

Anyone else seen it?

I dont watch Nick anymore due to their lack of originality. Their current trend in story and character design is pure ****. I miss the old nick, with DangerMouse, Count Duckula, Finders Keepers, et al

I dont usually watch nickelodeon but when seen that thhey was trying to add some flavor to it by adding avatar, i just might start watching nick agian.

it was nice how they stsrted off with alot of action on the first episode.

did anyone else see it

the parts i liked the most was when the avatar got his rod back and slam the fire boy into the wall and ceiling
then the part when he used his water binging pwrs

Its no "Rugrats"

I have seen a couple episodes of Avatar and would have to agree with Cryozombie, it's an interesting show. I would like to see them bring back DangerMouse. Penthro was awesome.

Hmmmm.....a gerbil thing that metamorphs into a panther. That would be cool. Especially when the toad-thingys attack.
