I was disappointed.

Not sure why, but it seemed to me in SG1 they did not tie things up or go out wiht a big bang. They just ended.

It reminds of when "The Police" just walked off stage and stopped touring and no one really knew until months later that they were not together.

I would have thought "Jack" would have made a guest appearance.

What about "Jack's" Clone that was 14 or 16 6 years ago so he would be in college or just getting out.

Why did Asgaard do what they did? I would have thought they would have delivered the information to Earth and then scheduled their "event"

No real explanation on why the Ori could track SG1 only that they had some Asgaard technology so they thought it was that.

The previous episode about Valla and her Dad did not thrill me.

It just kind of ended.

As to Atlantis with the new "Acting" Chief of medicine I agree she is cute and I like her, but I really hope they did not drop one for the other based upon cost.

Well don't forget there is the 2 hour movie and it sort of seemed like that movie would be the finale even though that is not what they were calling it, but as I understand it, the first movie continues the storyline.

It felt like they just forced it. Like oh wait we have a contractual agreement to do a Valla show sp we do and then oh wait this is the last show so now we have to do all this in less than an hour.

I was disappointed.
So was I. It was OK, but... well, it was OK. I am looking forward to the direct to DVD movies, though.

It seems to have more to do with attracting more young guys to the show. What really pisses me off is that her character is WAY too similar to Beckett's!!! If they thought they needed someone different then they should have found someone DIFFERENT, not replaced a beloved character with a watered-down female version.

Atlantis should have stuck with the cast they had in season one (with the exception of Ronon, I like him!). None of them were really famous but the on-screen chemistry was magical. They keep replacing characters with new, more famous faces and that is doing nothing for the actual problems with the show.

Honestly, they should spend less time trying to add more characters and spend more time writing quality shows for the characters they have!

I 100% completely agree! I mean, why not have kept Beckett in there with like a promotion or something, and added her maybe as his replacement or say Beckett is the one who is in the lab and she is coming in to do all the off world missions....they didn't have to kill of his character and I found the way they did it a litte disappointing...Definitelly the killing off of Doc Fraiser on SG1 and the memorial service has been the best killing off of a doc I have seen....

See now I could almost believe the science of that, what i could not believe was becket taking the container to the bomb unit, rather than removing his patient and leaving the exploding tumor until the until got to it...i.e. NOT shaking it and setting it off by walking with it.

It was just a stupid way to die. Exploding tumors are just as plausible as a wormhole between galaxies, I suppose. I just had a problem with how stupid & senseless his death was. It didn't mean anything, there was nor reason for it and then they replace him with an opposite gender near-clone!

Grrrrrrrrr....

I have to admit I did like the way sg1 ended....there are a few storylines I wish they had closed up better, but overall, it felt like a good ending even if there was no movie coming out, I didn't feel like there was anything MAJOR left hanging....

i liked atlantis, but I have to admit I am not thrilled about weir leaving...I like the militay vs non-military dynamics that sometimes come up and if carter is now on atlantis, how is she supposed to be apart of sg1 in the movies still? I kind of wish carter wasn't crossing over to atlantis full time....

I treat the Carter move like the DS9 moves of OBrian and Worf. If they actually give them proper parts that fit in then it will go well. If not then, it could look real bad.

I feel like in moving her, they are sort of just changing atlantis into a sg1, it will loose some of its uniqueness....I mean in many ways it is just an sg1 clone, but there were some things that set it apart and those are disappearing....
