I saw a commercial for Atlantis last night and noticed Jewel Staite was in the commercial... is she a new regular on the show? I might be enticed to watch if that is the case.

She replaced the beloved Doctor Beckett for no apparent reason other than they wanted someone with breasts in the role. I suggested that Paul McGillion gain weight and acquire man-boobs because he was MUCH better in the role than she is. Nothing against Jewel Statite, she is lovely and a good actress, but I am done with Atlantis. They continue to get worse & make the most moronic decisions.
