...even though it's almost over in the US, I thought I might start discussions now, since I have heard that the last few episodes are amazing.

The Donna-centric episode "Turn Left" was actually quite good. It was great to see Rose again as well. I am glad they didn't go the silly route on their Doctor-lite episode this year, hopefully they learned their lesson from that ridiculous "Absorbaloff" ep last season!

I am not a Donna fan, I don't even like Catherine Tate much when she is doing her comedy thing, but she didn't do too badly in this ep. She'll never win awards for being an amazing actress, but she wasn't cringeworthy, either. I can't wait to see why she is so "special" that a whole alternate universe would be created around her. And "Bad Wolf" is back, which is cool, although it makes me miss Chris Eccleston's doctor. I do adore David Tennant, though!

Hi Uno!:)

I have to admit, Donna has really won me over. I was worried that she would ruin the show after her appearance in 'Runnaway Bride', but she toned it down a wee bit, and I've just loved her! Better than Rose, and miles better than Martha. IMHO.

I thought she really shone in Turn Left, which was a great episode. And I was also delighted to see Rose again. Although, did you notice she could not speek right, apparently Billie Piper had extensive dental work done prior to this episode, as a result she sounded like she was doing a Sean Connery impersination all through the episode!:o:D
And what about Bernard Cribbins!:icon_cool Old Wilf steals every scene he is in! This guy took on the Daleks in 1966 beside Peter Cushing's Doctor, and over 40 years later he is still great in Doctor Who! The man is a legend.:)

IMHO, season 4 has been the bet over all. Other seasons have had better episodes, but none at this level through out.
We have no full season next year as David Tennant is starring as Hamlet in a big RSC production, but we will have a few one-off specials.
Then Moffat takes over for season 5 in 2010! Can't wait.:D

OH...MY...GOURD!!!!!!!

The last 3 eps of the season totally frakkin' rocked, they were amazing! Wow! Wow! Wow! I am not often left (nearly) speechless, but.... WOW!!!

And can I have a HALLELUJAH and an AMEN on no more Donna?! I didn't completely hate her by the end of the season, but I ain't sad to see her go!
