MIYU,

I'm still a bit paranoid about such activity, in the wake of the Kent State Massacre.

Students gathered for a peaceful anti-Vietnam protest, & 4 of them were shot dead by Americn soldiers whose job was to "keep the peace", while hundreds of others were beaten, gassed & terrorised in various other ways.

History seems to be spotted with such events sadly - the one that pops to my mind more often then not is Jones Town - The TICK keeps that refferance fresh in my mind

MIYU,

Yes, it does, especially when one considers the skyrocketing prices of tuition & books.

STARBUG,

What does THE TICK have to do with a cult compound in Guyana?

THE TICK issue #1/#2 reprise comic book (I think) - THE TICK says don't drink the punch - another guys say's "don't worry theres nothing wrong with the punch" THE TICK says "Thats what they said in Jones Town" or something like that from memory or perhaps it was in the cartoon? -either way ...
