How Long Have You Been Gaming?

Sparked by a conversation I had with an old friend a while back, involving him having RPed for close to 15 years...

Please feel free to add comments (i.e., tabletop games, online games, etc.) Sorry, but I don't really consider video games (Neverwinter Nights, Final Fantasy, etc.) to be "gaming" -- just a personal prejudice.

I don't play a lot of rpg's....

but I do play the occasional table top game.... (space hog, warhammer, stock market, etc)

the more important question... what do you like most about gaming?

personally, it's the entire social aspect... I don't really care what the game is, so long as there is good conversation to go with it...

Euchre happens to be my favourite...

I'm an online RPer! I ran a pretty fun, and wacky, forum RP for a few years. But only recently did I get into tabletop games w/ LotR and then D&D

...there was a group of us in highschool that would get together on the weekends, and RP for hours. we started out with Mage and ended up steering towards Werewolf because of the extra added abilities and classes. and most of the people I hung out with did some not so legal things, and were extremely good story tellers because of it...

Mom regrets leaving me alone with gamers on the weekends. Cut my teeth on D&D 2nd Ed., Moved on to White Wolf, Upgraded to 3rd ed., had VERY brief phase of GURPS and Rifts. Nowadays, I don't game much, Curse Senior year, but what I do is usually White Wolf, TFOS, D&D, and BESM.
